从崩溃到重建:论宋太祖时期的武德司

后周武德司的几近瘫痪,是“陈桥兵变”得以成功的重要因素。正因为如此,宋太祖开国后,遂有针对性地从人事调整和制度建设两方面同时入手来强化武德司。在以王仁赡、刘知信和王继恩三位亲信执掌武德司的同时,又将相当数量的精兵隶属武德司,以专司皇宫警卫,并显著增强由宦官为主导的武德司的伺察、特务职能,从而有力地保证了皇帝对禁军的绝对控制。

From Collapse to Reconstruction: On the Arm Moral Department in the Period of the Emperor Taizu of Song Dynasty

The Arm Moral Department(an information department) of Later Zhou dynasty was almost paralysis.This was the important factor for which'the Chenqiao mutiny' succeeded.Just for this reason,after the founding of Song dynasty,Emperor Taizu concurrently started to strengthen the Arm Moral Department directly from regulating personal system and functional system.While he ordered his three trusted fellows to master the Arm Moral Department,he also ordered quite a number of picked soldiers to belong to the Arm Moral Department for specially guarding imperial palace.Meanwhile,he remarkably strengthened the detecting function mainly headed by eunuches of the Arm Moral Department,so as to forcefully guarantee that the emperor absolutely controls the imperial guards.
