Cave Dwellings Take on New Look

The cave dwelling,or yaodong in Chinese,is a unique form of traditional house made from earth,stones and/or bricks,and it is commonly seen on the Loess Plateau,in northern China.Now,rural residents are using cave dwellings to develop the tourism industry,which not only is helping to increase their incomes,but also helping tourists gain a better understanding of local culture.
