摘    要:诚实守信虽然只是立身做人的起点和出发点,然而,正因为有这样的起点和出发点,其它一切高尚道德的发生和发展才有可能,它是立身做人的道德基石,它决定着道德性质和走向。法律虽然能对市场主体的"利己心"起到限度作用,但市场主体利己心内在的限度最初并不在法律那儿,而在道德那儿;高尚的道德规范对市场主体的利己心并不能够起到限度作用,诚实守信的道德规范对市场主体的利己心才能起到限度作用。以诚实守信为重点,既体现了对以往道德建设经验教训的总结又顺应了时代发展的要求;以诚实守信为重点,抓住了当前道德建设的主要矛盾。

Abstract:As a starting point of behaving oneself,honesty and keeping one's words which make it possible that magnificent morality can arise and develop.It is the moral base of behaving that decides the moral nature and tendency.The law has the function of limiting the "self-interest" of market subjects,but the internal limitation of their self-interest is not on the law,but on the morality.It is the honesty and keeping moral criterion,not the magnificent moral criterion,that plays the limiting functions on the self-interest of market subjects.Laying the emphasis on the honesty and keeping one's words,which seizes the primary conflict of the present moral construction,is not only a summary of the past experiences and lessons in the moral construction,but also accords with the demand of social development.
