| Abstract: | Tolstoy is a representative of the literary and artistic theory of Emotion in 19th century.However,his emotional theory differs from Romantic emotional theory.This essay attempts to explore why he defines the essence of art as emotional communication and transference from the perspective of Tolstoy's study of the essence of art.Thus the essential differences of Tolstoy's emotional theory and Romantic emotional theory can be compared. |
