家庭社会网络与农户储蓄行为:基于中国农村的实证研究

基于中国2009年3省9县的农村住户调查数据,本文考察家庭社会网络对农户储蓄行为的影响。研究表明:(1)家庭社会网络越广泛,农户储蓄率越低,即使使用不同的代理变量,该结论依然稳健;(2)收入越低的农户,家庭社会网络对储蓄率的影响越大;(3)对影响机制的扩展研究表明,家庭社会网络对农户储蓄率的作用会随着收入增长、正规金融发展及市场化的推进而减弱。本文的研究有助于理解家庭社会网络对农村家庭的保障功能,并为促进农村居民消费提供初步的经验证据。

The Family Social Network and the Rural Household Saving Behavior:a Case Study Based on China's Villages

Based on the data collected with investigation of the rural households of 9 counties of China's 3 provinces in the year of 2009,we have,in this paper,probed the impact of the family social network(FSN) on the savings behavior of peasant families.The results of our study show that(1) the more extensive,the lower the savings rates of the rural households,and ever if different proxy variables are used,the conclusion is still forceful;(2) the lower the income of the rural households,the greater the impact of the FSN;(3) the results of the extended research on the influencing mechanism indicate that the effect of the FSN on the savings rates of the rural households will increase with the income increase and the regular financial development and the furthering of commercialization will be weakened.The results of this study is conducive to understanding the protecting function of the FSN for rural households,and has provided elementary empirical evidences for the promotion of the consumption of the rural residents.
