大散关诗话

大散关是关中平原的西部门户,也是古今征戍不断、战事频仍的雄关险隘,历代多有题咏。诗家往往触景生情,托物感怀,或忧念时局,情系国事;或写雄关之险峻,绘景物之灵秀;或述行役之苦辛,发思古之幽情;或诉身世之飘泊,话命途之多艰,显示出多元的创作视野,具有十分厚重的社会内容和时代底蕴。

Dasanguan Pass stands on the west entrance of Guanzhong Plain.It is such an impregnable and narrow pass that it has been the site of many strateg ic military actions and the subject of poetic chant from ancient times.The poem s are usually about the poets' feelings provoked by and their reflections on th e scenery here,telling their deep concern for,national affairs and social stab ility,describing the perilous cliffs and the picturesque landscape,narrating t he bitterness of the soldiers and the nostalgic affection and revealing the hard ships of their lives and uncertainty of their fates.They are written from mult-perspectives and are rich in ideas and profound in implications.
