| 摘 要： | 在英汉语言中 ,表示色彩的词很丰富。由于文化差异 ,不同的民族对颜色词的理解也不同。通过对英汉颜色词的分类及对其基本象征意义的对比分析 ,从不同角度强调了英汉颜色词的民族特性 ,并探寻两种民族的文化历史根源 ,以更好地了解各民族文化的差异 ,避免在跨文化交际中产生失误。

| Abstract: | Colors are abundant in both Chinese and English. Due to cultural diversity, different nations have different understanding in colors. This paper puts an emphasis on the nationality traits of color words through the classification of colors and analysis of symbolic meaning from different angles. It also explores the cultural and historical roots of two nations. We can avoid errors in cross-cultural communications based on a better understanding of cultural differences. |
