＂Translated literature＂,together with its ontological cognition and its subject catalog,remains yet a new branch of study.Based on a retrospective research into the controversy about the ontological cognition and subject catalog of＂translated literature＂,the paper puts forward that＂translated literature＂belongs to literary morphology,bearing alien culture and rooted in national cultural context and then reexamines the diachronically,functional and critical study of＂translated literature＂,pointing out that generally accepted theoretical systems and studying model of＂translated literature＂have been shaped though some controversy and arguments still exist.
