| 摘 要： | 本文以英语会话中的话轮沉默为研究对象,指出了传统语用观中的会话分析理论和合作原则在解释话轮沉默时存在的不足,在此基础上探讨了话轮沉默的信息意图、交际意图、关联性和语境效果,说明了关联理论对话轮沉默具有较强的解释力。

| Abstract: | Focusing on turn silence in English discourse,this paper indicates the self-deficiency of Conversational Analysis Theory and Cooperate Principle in interpreting turn silence,then discusses its informative intention,communicative intention,relevance and contextual effect.Finally,it points out that Relevance Theory is capable of giving an effective interpretation of turn silence. |
