道学心态下的朱熹

道学 (或称理学 )诞生于北宋 ,这是一个发生道德危机、信仰危机、民族危机的社会 ,这样的社会背景孕育出一种普遍的道学文化心态 :确立超越的义理 ,寻求存在的意义 ,获得理性的自由 ,渴望心灵的安宁。所以 ,寻天地必然之理 ,立人道当然之则 ,就成为宋明理学家共同的理论取向 ,也是朱子道学的内在理路。朱熹继孔孟 ,接周程 ,倡道统 ,汇四书 ,关注现实 ,彰显理性 ,探求心性 ,他所进行的这一系列理论活动与实践均是道学心态使然

Of Zhu Xi's Daoxue Mentality

(3) The composition of Zhu Xi's Daoxue mentality: the follower of Confucius and Menfucius; the continuance of the theories of Zhou Dunyi, Chengyi and Chenghao; to initiate the theory of Confucian orthodoxy; to have The Four Books converged; the rationality revealed; the Ren the natural instincts and the spirit and thought of humanity to be probed; and the objective reality to be known.
