| Abstract: | Tanchun almost possessed all the requirements of a reformer, such as bravery, sense of responsibility, boldness, cooperator, ect. But why did her reform still lead to a tragedy? Firstly, all the three generations of rulers in the Jia Family didnt really support Tanchun's reform- Secondly,Tanchun' s status and prestige were directly by her family background because her mother,ZHAO Shi who was one of the concubines of her father, was disliked by others. Lastly, Tanchun' s reform lacked in mass' s support. |
