语言是海外华人作家最重要的精神栖息地和生存方式,他们以对传统语义符号的现代转换和对汉语释义方式、表达方式的探索求得自身异域的生存时,也参加了民族话语的重建,而华人新生代对汉语"纯正性"的追求,新移民作家的中文混杂化,作为他们回报母语滋养的生命形式,反映出母语在迁徙中与作家创作互动的丰富内涵。

A Mode of Return to the Nourishment of Mother Tongue

Chinese language is the most important spiritual residence and way of living for oversea Chinese writers.While modernizing Chinese traditional semantic symbols and exploring the ways of Chinese explanation and expression,these oversea Chinese writers also take part in the reconstruction of Chinese national language.The pursuit of the purity of Chinese language in the works of new American-born Chinese writers and the hybridization of Chinese and other languages in the works of the new Chinese immigrant writers,as a mode of return to the nourishment of their mother language,reflect the profound implications of the interaction between the writers' literary creation and their mative language in its transplantation.
