贯彻落实“三个代表”促进新闻出版业的发展

新闻出版工作者要深刻理解江泽民同志"三个代表"的重要思想,落实到实际工作中,要做到三个方面要服务于社会主义经济建设,促进社会生产力的发展,宣传和探索生产力的新形式、新特点,重视"科学技术是第一生产力"的思想,注重有关劳动者素质提高的选题;要顺应先进文化的前进方向,构建有中国特色的文化体系,要弘扬民族优秀的传统文化,学习和借鉴先进的外来文化,提高民族文化的国际竞争力;要维护人民群众利益,了解人民群众的文化需求和接受心理,规范文化市场,满足人民的精神文化需求,为人民群众奉献体现时代特色的精神产品.

Put into Effect "The Three Representatives" and Promote Journalism and Publication

Journalists and publishers need deeply understand the important thought of "The Three Representa- tive", put forward by Comarde JIANG Ze-min, and furthermore put them into effect. The author points out three aspects: firstly those involved in journalism and publication should serve the socialist economic construction and promote the development of productive forces, propaganda and study the new forms and the new features of the productive forces; secondly they are expected to embrace the thought: science and technology are the most important productive forces, to comply with the advancement direction of advanced cultures, to build the cultur- al system with national features, to carry forward the worthy national traditional cultures, to learn and bring in the advanced cultures for references, and to increase the international competition of the national cultures; third- ly they are required to safeguard the people's interests, to meet the cultural needs of the people, to standardize the cultural market and to dedicate to the satisfaction of the people.
