对中国人口学未来发展的思考

相对于20世纪70年代后期以来中国人口学的恢复性繁荣,90年代以来中国人口学发展相对缓慢。究其原因,一是推动70—80年代人口科学繁荣发展的基本任务(即推动完成人口转变)业已完成;二是人口学的内生性创新不足,不足以引发学术和社会实践的突破性革新;三是人口学发展与行政体系过分捆绑,削弱了人口学本身的学术性。人口学的发展需要一个新的繁荣时期。在延续人口学学术脉络的基础上,人口学的发展需要自身的理论创新和方法论创新,对未来发展确立若干基本的着力点。具体包括:探索创建后人口转变时期的人口学;结合中长期人口变动和国家发展的重大问题,确立以经世致用为目标的应用人口科学;推动人口学方法论的创新。

Future Prospects of Chinese Demography

The author makes a historical review of Chinese demography development,and concludes the reasons of comparative low development of Chinese demography after the late 1990s.the author also suggests some points to push forward disciplinary development in the future,which includes: to build new demography in post-population transition period;to build applied social science oriented to answer the key problem for China's development;and to push forward methodological innovations.
