在经济学、人类学与社会学领域．解释制度的因素主要有两类。即功能的因素和深层结构的因素。这两类因素可以结合起来形成完整的解释框架。即面对具体的制度现象．我们首先从功能的角度和深层结构的角度寻找解释这一制度的一般化因素，然后再建立博弈模型．以便在这两类一般化因素与需要解释的特殊制度现象之间建立逻辑联系。
