论语法翻译法和交际教学法相结合的必要性

摘    要:第二语言习得理论中的监检假设证明语法翻译法便于学生丰富英语知识,提高使用英语的准确度和英语读写译的能力,而其中的输入假设证明交际教学法则便于学生提高使用英语的流利度和英语听说能力。大学英语教师应结合使用语法翻译法和交际教学法进行教学,使学生打下扎实的语言基础,提高英语综合运用能力。

Abstract:The monitor hypothesis in the second-language acquisition theory proves that the grammar-translation method can help students enrich their knowledge of English and improve the accuracy of English and their reading,writing and translating abilities while the input hypothesis proves that the communicative approach can help students improve the fluency of English and their listening and speaking abilities.So the integration of the two methods should be adopted by college English teachers to help the students enrich their knowledge of English,lay a solid foundation of English and improve their comprehensive skills in using English.
