针对企业核心能力的概念进行了探讨,提出了企业核心能力培育的六因素模型,并以中信重工机械股份有限公司为例进行了阐述。认为企业核心能力是指企业在某一方面所拥有的在世界范围内优于竞争对手的一种能力,有效地培育企业的核心能力应该注意6个方面的因素：确立正确的能力培育方向、实施技术改造和技术创新、吸收外部知识、构建有效的管理系统、培育优秀的企业文化、遵循渐进过程的原则。
