对现代社会合理精神基础的思考

在现代化进程中人们的精神世界日益陷入困惑和迷茫,传统价值体系的解构留给我们思考的是现代社会价值平等的基础是什么? 这一问题的背后隐含着这样一个回答:当事物的差异性得到过分的尊重时,一种根本的意义就会隐匿,即现代社会失落了能够给人类存在赋予意义的合理的精神基础。这一失落的原因是什么? 以及人类如何去重新建立这一基础? 本文从社会历史现实的角度作了分析并从回溯文化传统的思路提出了自己的观点。

Reflections on the Basis for the Rational Spirit in Modern Society

During the process of modernization, people's mentality is getting increasingly into bewilderment and confusion. The deconstruction of traditional value system forces us to think about the basis for the equality of values in modern society. This question conceals such an answer as follows. When the otherness of something is excessively respected, a kind of essential significance would be secreted, that is, the modern society loses its basis for rational spirit endowing man's existence with significance. What is the cause of this loss? How can man rebuild this basis? The present paper analyses these issues from the perspective of social historical realism and puts forward some views with the retrospection of the cultural tradition.
