The Critical Perspective in Constructing Post-modern--Cultural Theories: the Operation of Jameson's Post-modernistic Cultural Theory

F.Jameson,is one of the most important post-modernistic cultural theorists.The hallmark of his engagement in post-modern criticisms was the publication of his paper Post-modernism and Consuming Society.He maintains that the later capitalism,originated from 1960's,is the new stage of capitalism's development and that along with the changing of productive modes,a post-modern culture,as a reflection of the societal structure.This culture is the product of the capitalist logic of culture and also the dominant ideology.
