句法象似性与英语句法教学

摘    要:象似性(iconicity)是当今认知语言学讨论句法时的热门话题,也是国内外学术界的焦点.不少语言学家已从语音、语法、词序等层面揭示语言符号的象似性,对索绪尔语言符号的任意性进行有力补充.本文主要从距离、顺序、以及数量等方面对句法的象似性展开阐释,试图探讨句法象似性对英语句法教学的意义与启示.

Abstract:Iconicity is a hot topic about cognitive linguistics of syntax as well as a focus of the academic world both at home and abroad.Many linguists have explored the iconicity from the aspects of the phonology,grammar,morphology and so on,which provides a perfect complement to Saussure's arbitrariness in linguistics.This paper mainly attempts to focus on the iconicity in distance,order,and quantity of syntax and above all explore its effect on English syntax teaching.
