关于亚洲价值观的思考

本文对亚洲价值观的来源、核心和内涵作了阐述。作者认为亚洲价值观漏洞颇多 ,难以自圆其说 ,东亚千差万别、文化各异 ,并没有统一的价值观 ;亚洲价值观的核心——产生于封建专制土壤之中的儒家文化与封建专制政权相生相伴、相辅相成、荣辱与共 ,其落后性和诸多恶果显而易见。用儒家文化作为自己的核心 ,恰恰暴露出亚洲价值观的落后性和欺骗性 ;亚洲价值观的倡导者在对西方文化的批判中 ,不仅无的放矢 ,击不中要害 ,而且不顾事实 ,张冠李戴 ,甚至用落后的观念去反对进步的观念。因此 ,由东亚个别领导人所倡导的而非为东亚各国人民认可的所谓亚洲价值观必将被愈来愈多的人所抛弃和批判

Reflection on Asian Value

The article elaborates on the origin, the tenet and the connotation of the Asian values. The author thinks that the Asian values have too many loopholes to reconcile with themselves.Besides,East Asian countries and their cultures differ in thousands of ways without unified value concept.The Confucian culture, the tenet of the Asian value concept, which originated in the feudal autocracy complemented the feudal autocratic power and shared honor and disgrace with it. Its backwardness and the disastrous effects are obvious. With the Confucian culture as its tenet, the Asian value concept revealed its backwardness and deceiving feature. The initiators of the Asian value concept not only failed to hit the point but also disregarded the facts in their criticism of the western culture. They even used the backward concepts to counteract the progressive ones. Therefore, the so called Asian value concept initiated by a few East Asian leaders and not accepted by the peoples of the East Asian countries will be abandoned and criticized by more and more people.
