二十世纪前期文学研究中“复古”的审美意识

进化论传入中国,颠覆了历史循环论的专权,也成就了20世纪前期学术研究的伟绩,文学研究亦受其惠泽。但“复古”意识并没有退出历史舞台,其作为一种美学思想仍潜存于文学研究者的视野中,“以复古为革新”的文学评价的底子里仍潜藏着对“复古”的美学思想的回护。而今,客观地审查“进化”与“复古”这一公案则可发现“复古”的审美意识实具有不可低估的学理价值。

Aesthetic Approaches of Restoration to Ancient Ways in Literary Research in the First Half of 20th Century

The entrance of the theory of evolution into China subverted the authoritative status of the cyclical theory of history, brought forward the enormous academic achievements in the first half of the 20th century, and benefited the literary research. However, the consciousness of restoration to the ancient ways did not withdraw from the stage of history. It still existed in the horizons of the literary researchers by hiding itself as a thought of aesthetics. The grounding of literary criticism with "renovation by restoring to the ancient ways" concealed the idea of safeguarding the aesthetic thought of "the restoration to the ancient ways." Today, to examine objectively the legal case of "evolution" and "restoration" will help us realize that the aesthetic consciousness of "restoration" is still of considerable academic value.
