| 摘 要： | 翻译是一种跨文化交际活动,非言语符号作为非言语交流方式,在人类交际中起着极其重要的作用。因而,如何积极有效地处理非言语符号英汉互译的跨文化因素以及其功能对等问题是一个值得重视的研究课题。本论文将从功能对等角度全面地探讨解决翻译过程中遇到的非言语翻译问题,探讨译者如何合理地处理原文中的非言语符号信息,如何在译文中用言语描述出在原文文化中非言语符号所拥有的信息功能和所负载的文化涵义。
