关于民办高校开展院校研究的思考

院校研究(institutional research,简称IR)起源于欧美,20世纪60年代流行于美国,是当前国际高等教育领域一种卓有成效的研究范式。开展院校研究是民办高校落实科学发展观的必然要求,也是民办高校实现可持续发展的重要保障。民办高校开展院校研究可以从成立机构、培养队伍、建立院校信息数据库、创设环境、学习创新等五个方面着手。

Reflection on Developing Institutional Research in Non-government Colleges and Universities

Institutional Research(hereinafter referred to as IR),which originated from Europe and America and was prevalent in the USA in the 1960's,is an effective research pattern in the field of current international higher education.As for Non-government Colleges and Universities,it is important and necessary to develop IR,which is not only the indispensable requirement to carry out the scientific outlook on development,but the important guarantee to realize sustainable development.Non-government colleges and universities can start IR from five aspects,such as setting up organization,fostering team,building IR information data base,creating harmonious environment and learning innovatively.
