赛事报道中的隐喻及其词法手段

本文对比考察了传统隐喻观与认知语言学的隐喻观 ,重点评述了隐喻的本质、定义、两概念及其判别标准。在此基础上 ,运用相关语料分析了赛事报道中使用的各类隐喻的词法手段。根据词法构成特点 ,将隐喻实例粗分为两大类 ,即名词性隐喻和动词性隐喻 ,同时分析了“本体隐喻”和“常规隐喻”的特点。本文得出的初步结论是 :赛事报道中的隐喻无所不在 ,其词法手段灵活多样 ,这进一步证明了认知语言学者所提出的“隐喻是人类语言无所不在的原则”这一全新隐喻观的正确性

Metaphors in Sports Writing and Their Lexical Devices

The present paper first examines the traditional view of and the cognitive linguistics approach to metaphor, focusing on the nature of metaphor and its various definitions, two concepts as well as judging criteria. The author then attempts to analyze the metaphors used in sports writing based on relevant data. According to the lexical devices employed, these metaphors can roughly be classified into two types: nominal metaphors and verbal metaphors. The concepts of ontological metaphor and conventional metaphor are also discussed. The paper arrives at the conclusion that metaphors in sports writing, as in other registers, are ubiquitous, thus evidencing the cognitive linguistics thesis that "metaphor is the omnipresent principle of language".
