Abstract:This paper studies the theoretical foundation for "innovation" in postgraduate courses cultivating innovation.It is hoped that the analysis can contribute to better understandings of postgraduate courses and the cultivation of postgraduates' innovation abilities.It is argued that the mechanism,which includes the knowledge system and tools of scientific research,and the knowledge framework,which covers a list of important knowledge,scientific research process,"meaning construction" in curriculum,the transfer from "strata" to "reticulation" and students as subjects,are the two theoretical foundations concerned.
