The Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was a boundary marker in the history of the socialist reform of China. The reform is a revolution and a great practice in the construction of socialism as well. In the past two decades, the reform was carried out widely and deeply in both the rural and urban areas, thus achieved great historical success and created rich experiences of reform on the way of building socialism with Chinese own characteristics.
