| Abstract: | This article makes an account about the causes, principles, procedure, characteristics and significance in amending the Law of Regional Autonomy for the Ethnic Minorities. The article points out that the latest amendment of the Law of Regional Autonomy for the Ethnic Minorities has taken speeding up the ethnic regional autonomous areas' development as the main contents, thus accommodating the needs of the strategy of the large-scale development of China's western areas;Meanwhile, it is of great significance for perfecting the construction of legal institutions concerning ethnic groups and promoting the process of administrating the state according to legislation. |
