自我提升的含义与研究

摘    要:自我提升是人们追求积极自我意象的驱力,它以优于平均效应、控制错觉、不切实际的乐观、自我服务偏向归因、选择性信息加工、策略性社会比较和交往、自我妨碍等形式实现,可通过一致性比较、自恋和社会赞许倾向评定、作用机制测查、内隐自我提升测量等方法考察,受信息特征、情绪体验、自尊和自我概念、社会情境和文化等因素影响。研究的热点和走向体现在自我动机的整合、测量方法的改进、跨文化研究的引入及发展性研究的兴起等方面。

Abstract:As the motive to pursue positive self-image,self-enhancement has various manifestations: above-average effect,illusions of control, unrealistic optimism,self-serving bias attribution,selective information processing,strategic social comparison and communication,self-handicapping,etc.It can be measured by consistency comparison,narcissism and socially desirable responding,operational mechanism,and implicit self-enhancement method.There are many factors contributing to the variance of self-enhancement,such as information characteristics,mood,self-esteem and self-concept,social context,and culture.Recent trends towards self-enhancement research lie in the integration of self-motive,the improvement of measures,the introduction of cross-cultural researches,and the rise of developmental investigations.
