关于运输企业向物流服务企业转变的探讨

物流企业是市场经济条件下的产物，其经营目标是在既定的顾客服务水平下，以最低的物流总成本赚取最大的利润。随着竞争的日益激烈和社会分工的细化，一些专门为生产企业提供仓储、运输等物流链中一部分活动的物流服务企业应运而生。物流服务在美国、日本、英国等发达国家的国民经济中发挥了巨大作用。市场经济条件下，我国的运输企业如何更好地发挥其在国民经济中的作用并提高自身的活力，意义非常重大。本文阐述了运输企业向物流服务企业转变的必要性，并提出了实现转变应注意解决的问题。

A Discussion of Turning Transportation Companies into Logistics Service Companies

Logistics companies are the outcome of market economy. Their operating objective is to maximize their profits with minimum total logistics cost at a given specified customer service level. With intense competions and the elaboration in sooial division of labor, logistics service companies came into being as the times require, which provide services to manifacturing companies, such as warehousing, transportation, within an integrated logistics system. Logistics service has played a great role in the national economy of many developed countrie, such as the U.S.A., Japan, Britain. Under the condition of market economy, how to play the role of transportation companies in China's national economy and how to improve its vitality are very important. This paper analyses the necessity of turning transportation companies into logistics service companies and its covering problems which should be settled.
