| 摘 要： | 云南拥有丰富而宝贵的少数民族文化资源。在对外开放的进程中，做好少数民族地区的对外宣传翻译工作至关重要。本文首先分析民族地区对外宣传英文翻译的特点与要求，并综合运用当代西方翻译理论中适用于非文学翻译的一些原理，提出了针对性建议，最后具体地阐释了如何在翻译中处理少数民族文化信息。
