试析佛山祖庙庙会的复兴

祖庙庙会是佛山有史以来最大的综合性庙会,它最兴盛的时期在明清,民国停办。2005年恢复举办。复兴的庙会既继承了传统庙会的内涵,也注入了新的文化气息,形成了新的仪式内容和特点。虽然复兴的祖庙庙会仍有明显的宗教色彩,但其文化性、民俗性的特点明显加强了。复兴的祖庙庙会也会一如既往地在佛山社会文化中发挥其重要作用。

The revival of Foshan Zumiao Temple Fair

Foshan Zumiao Temple fair is the largest-ever comprehensive temple fair,which happened in the most prosperous period in the Ming and Qing Dynasties but discontinued in the period of the Republic of China.In 2005,because of the change of national policy,the development of social economy,the drive of the domestic and foreign intangible cultural heritage protection,most fundamental,the ingrained belief of North God in the mind of Foshan people,Zumiao temple fair finally returned to Foshan human life.The revived temple fair not only inherited the traditional connotation,but also infused new culture atmosphere,forming a new ritual content and characteristics.Although the revival of the Zumiao temple fair still has obvious religious overtones,its culture and folk characteristics have been obviously strengthened.As usual,the revived Zumiao temple fair will continue to play an important role in the social culture of Foshan.
