| Abstract: | Reduction is a trend of language diachronic evolvement. The paper expounds the language phenomena of English reduction, including the analysis of reduction pattern as to the different aspects of word structure, sentence structure, and figures of speech. During which, the author summarizes some characteristics of the simplicity in the language forms through a lot of language examples. |
