| Abstract: | Many unofficial historical records,novels,tablets,and notes were used in the composition of Xin Tang Shu,and the historical facts presented were not accurate.In addition,the author did not comprehend historical data correctly and committed many errors as indicated in the third example in this paper.As Yan He was not so famous,the author mistook his name for Yuan He.The author made similar mistakes in the seventh and the twentieth examples.In the ninth example,for historical data,the author failed to understand the historical data and mistook Gong Du for Ying Yun.The fourteenth and the fifteenth examples are mistakes derived from false historical data.This paper lists twenty places and makes corrections of some errors in Xin Tang Shu. |
