我国统计高等教育的回顾与前瞻

 作为一名统计教育工作者，我有幸亲身经历了最近20多年来我国统计教育拨乱反正、改革开放与发展波澜壮阔的整个过程。在世纪之交，愿以这篇文章回顾过去，展望未来，以迎接新世纪的挑战。

Retrospect and prospect of China's higher education in statistics

The paper firstly reviews the 10 important events that have had the great influences on the reform and development of statistical higher education during the past 20 year. After comparison with the curriculum, textbook, and scheme of statistical education in developed countries, the paper has discussed the problems and difficulties we are facing right now. Then at the last part, the paper tries to point out the challenges and the chances in our statistical education when we enter the new millennium and the new century as well as after China joins WTO.
