康德思想的实用维度及其限度

认为康德的思想缺乏实用的维度,这是对康德的一大误解。康德自觉意识到了他的思想活动不能撇开他个人生存的实用意图,也离不开其他人乃至整个人类的普遍福利,他也正是从个人乃至人类的福利入手,来界定实用的一词的。他把自己对于真理的全部探求,都指向了人类的普遍利益。他的自然地理学、地震研究、通灵术批判、实用人类学等等,都清晰地显示了他的思想的实用维度。他的理论哲学、实践哲学和判断力理论乃至社会历史哲学,都没有遗忘理论的用处,他始终明确肯定实用准则是指导人们实际行动的主要准则之一。但是,康德最终还是为自己思想的实用维度设置了限制,他把一切实用的行动准则都当作有条件的假言命令,认为它们应该受无条件的定言命令的约束。对康德而言,遵循实用准则尽管有可能通向幸福,但惟有坚守定言命令才能体现人的自由、人格与尊严。
