西双版纳傣语空间方位隐喻研究

利用莱考夫的概念隐喻理论及莱文森的空间参照框架理论能够进一步弄清人类是如何将自身对空间方位的体验逐渐形成概念后又投射到对周围世界的认识上,尤其是对抽象事物或抽象概念的理解和认知上。同其他民族一样,傣族在其认知活动中,首先通过感知觉的感知能力学会了空间定位,使用方位词,对空间概念化,随后又将大脑中业已概念化的空间方位隐喻投射到其他事物上,使它适合其他语义域。具体说来,就是将空间方位隐喻中的东西、南北、上下、左右、前后、里外、中心、远近、高低等具体空间方位投射于情绪、行为、数量、身体状况、社会地位等抽象概念上。
