| 摘 要： | 在田纳西.威廉斯的创作生涯中,对女性的命运给予了极大的关切和支持,热情讴歌了具有反叛意识、追求独立的新女性。他的这种积极进步的妇女观除了受时代的影响外,剧作家的姐姐罗丝功不可没。罗丝是他创作的缪斯,这一点可以从剧作家的生活和作品中得到证明。

| Abstract: | During his lifetime and his artistic creation, Tennessee Williams shows his great concern about and support to women s lives and thinks highly of those rebellious women who strive for their own independence.His radical vision of women owes partly to the social trends then but mainly to the influence of his eldes sister Rose.The detailed analysis of his life and his works shows that Rose is Williams everlasting Muse. |
