翻译目的论在字幕翻译中的应用——以美剧《生活大爆炸》为例

在情景喜剧中幽默对白的翻译对目标语观众观赏整部喜剧起着至关重要的作用。本文以翻译目的论为理论依托，对广受欢迎的美剧《生活大爆炸》中的幽默对白进行个案研究与分析，试图找出译者在翻译剧中幽默语时所采取的具体翻译策略，认为在翻译过程中，译者应当以重现原文的幽默效果为第一原则，并且根据目标语观众的期望，遵循目标语观众的文化习惯，选取最恰当的翻译策略，将幽默的效果重现于译语，从而使目标语观众充分理解原语中的幽默。

On the Translation of Subtitles Based on Skopos Theory --A Case Study of The Big Bang Theory

Subtitle translation plays an important role in helping the target audiences understand situation comedies. Based on the Skopos Theory, we studied the translation of the humorous dialogues in The Big Band Theory, aiming to find out the methods used by the translators. The study leads us to the following conclusions： the primary principle in the translation of the dialogues in The Big Band Theory is to retain or reproduce the humor of the original dia- logues. Therefore, translators should employ appropriate translation methods according to the culture and traditions of the target audience and its expectation so that the humor is reproduced and the target audience can better under- stand the humor of original dialogues.
