| Abstract: | English proverbs usually have rich background of history, geography, religious belief. To understand the original and be able to translate them into Chinese, we need to have the background knowledge, analyze the difference of expressions between English and Chinese, pay special attention to the sentence structure and context of situation of the English proverbs. |
