| Abstract: | August 8,2008,Beijing,China:The opening ceremony for the 29th Olympics was hosted in the National Stadium.Despite the differences in their languages,color of skin,ages and religious beliefs,the 16,000 athletes,who were from 204 nations and regions,gathered in Beijing under the five-ring Olympic flag to compete with and against each other for their countries,to live up to the Olympic spirit and ideals,and to strive to realize the Olympic goal of theOne World,One Dream. |
