Carol Ann Duffy’s Concept of Literary Creation

Carol Ann Duffy received "Poet Laureate" from the British Queen in 2009.Her poetry,often based on real life experience,is under the influence of Wittgenstein′s language philosophy and focuses on the role of ideology in the production of the meaning of language.Most of her poems have dramatic monologue,and are reflections of the life and emotions of all kinds of people.Each narrator has his/her own voice,and their different life experiences vividly mirror the true picture of contemporary Britain.
