在人对自然的控制而导致的文明与自然的冲突中 ,环境问题是 2 1世纪人类文明面临的重大挑战 ,它带来了道德谱系或伦理类型上的范式革命。环境伦理指向两大文明难题 :其一 ,如何走出控制自然之迷误 ;其二 ,如何遵循环境伦理。环境伦理作为一种目光长远的伦理 ,必须正视现代科学的本质并限定其控制自然的条件 ;作为一种实际有效的伦理 ,必然代表 2 1世纪人的类型的转变、文明的演进和伦理发展的基本方向

The environmental ethics and human civilization in 21st century

The contradiction between nature and civilization due to humans’ practice of controlling the nature brings about the environmental problem——the problem of human civilization in the 21st century. This also leads to the revolution of ethical categories. The environmental ethics involves two problems: 1) how to resolve the confusion of controlling the nature, and 2) how to follow the environmental ethics in practical situation. As a far-sighted ethics, environmental ethics must acknowledge the nature of contemporary science and limit the conditions of controlling the nature. Since this ethics is practical and effective, it will surely represent the direction of the development of human civilization and ethics in the 21st century.
