辛弃疾与朋党之争

在朝臣争权夺利、结党营私的复杂形势下,辛弃疾也未能置身事外,他的仕途沉浮与上层派系斗争、权势更迭有着千丝万缕的联系。辛弃疾的“归正人”身份,使他南归后必然要受到排斥,但他以自身卓越的政治军事才能受到主战派权臣的赏识,官职不断有所升迁。而其过于猛厉的行事作风与当时的士风甚不相容,随着主战派失势,他的落职罢官也就在所难免。

Because of being in a quite complicated situation in which the officials were scrambling for power and profit and ganging up together to pursue selfish interests,Xin Qiji could not stay aloof from the affair.The ups and downs of his official career had a thousand and one links with the struggle between the party graupings of the upper class and the change of their power and influence.Xin Qiji was from the north which was occupied by the enemy,so he was rejected by some southern officials.However,he was appreciated by the officials who were on power and were for the war against the enemy,because of his outstanding political and military ability and got promoted constantly,His severe and sharp way of doing things was quite different from the style of the literati and officialdom of that time.Therefore,it was not surprising that he was dismissed from office when the officials who appreciated him were not on power.
