| Abstract: | Having experienced gradual but consistent transformations, Chinese classical fiction has reached a stage of perfection in Ming and Qing Dynasties, when it suits both refined and popular tastes, represents both classical realism and critical realism, depicts both the history and the reality. Aesthetically, it has completed the negation of negation, ushering in a great prosperity of literary creation. |
