A Restricted View of the "Mind"--On the Translation of Philosophical Concepts

The greatest problem in the translation of philosophical text lies in the pluralism of the meaning and the complexity of the context of philosophical language.The reason for the difficulty is the metaphorical nature of language.Metaphor refers to the way in which the understanding and experience of one thing are achieved by the understanding and experience of some other things.Every language is a metaphorical system in essence and metaphor constitutes our system of everyday concepts,especially those abstract ones.This article,by interpreting the concept of "mind",argues that universal translation of certain term does not exist,translation is interpretation and discussion.
