东斯拉夫人的起源初探

东斯拉夫人是斯拉夫人东部分支，公元６世纪时形成，居住在德涅斯特河和第聂泊河之间，北到维斯拉河。８─９世纪时，农业已成为其主要经济部门，但由于各群体之间发展不平衡，它们的生产力水平和社会发展阶段并不相同。９世纪中叶后，瓦兰吉亚人征服了东斯拉夫人，建立了以基辅为中心的国家──基辅罗斯。瓦兰吉亚人很快被东斯拉夫人同化，基辅罗斯仍不失为东斯拉夫人的国家。

On the Origin of the Eastern Slavs

The Eastern Slavs is a branch of the Slavs inhabited in the Eastern Europe. The people was formed in the 6th century and in the area between the Dniester River and the Dnieper River, as far as the Vistula River in the north. During the period of the 8th to the 9th centuries, agriculture had become the main branch of economy; however, levels of productive forces and stages of social development in these areas were of great variety, because of the uneaual development of these community groups. In the middle of the 9th century, the Varangians conquered the Eastern Slavs and established a country named kievan Rus, with kiev as its center. The Varangians were assimilated by the Eastern Slavs shortly afterwards ,so kievan Rus has always been regarded as the Eastern Slavs'country.
