摘    要:本文详细介绍了20世纪美国主要教育思想流派。传统派强调教育的强制性和传统文化知识的传授;实践派注重教育的实践性;革命派强调教育的目的就是培养学生的积极的具有独立见解的人生观。本文的目的是希望我国教育界人士从他们的理论和实践中获得有益的启示。

Abstract:Main schools of the American educational thoughts in the 20th century are introduced in detail in this paper. The traditional school emphasizes the compulsion of education and the impartment of traditional knowledge as well. The practical school pays great attention to practicality of education. The revolutionary school emphasizes that the goal of education is to foster the students' active and independent outlook on life. The purpose of the authors of this paper is to hope that the educators in our country will draw beneficial enlightenment from their educational thoughts.
