East Asia Economic Cooperation and Political Dilemma--Based on France-Germany Reconciliation and European Union Integration

The reconciliation between France and Germany is an good example which put an end to national controdictions and promoted economic cooperation and development. The France-Germany reconciliation not only helped West Europe depart from the historical odd track in which reprisal breeds reprisal, but also helped to bring about construction of European Union. The process of reconciliation, which drived the joint development of West Europe, will greatly inspire East Asia cooperation, which is full of vigor and cooperative potentiality, though remnants of Cold War still exist. It is safe to say that whether East Asia adopts the way of France-Germany reconciliation determines, to a great extent, the springing up of East Asia.
