With her superb performances she has joined the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, and has united people of different countries and nations. Just as the American petroleum king Armand Hammer says, "Yang's dance belongs to all mankind." Yang's husband, Tony Liu, is Taiwanese, who worked 12 years in the United States. He describes his wife's dancing "The Two Trees" as "entwining in life and death.
